Our commitment to sustainability and the environment

As the travel industry has evolved, it has become a big business. Today, it occupies one of the largest sectors of the commercial world and therefore, its impact on the world around it has to be a major factor on how travel companies operate. From the fuel used to move people around to sourcing the way that they run their offices, all of these choices, big and small, have an impact on the planet.

We believe that tourism can and indeed must play a key role in creating a sustainable world for future generations. Therefore, we are fully committed to making sure that our impact on the environment is as low as possible and that our business model is fully sustainable.

Firstly, as a company relying heavily on cars and busses to create our tours, we are moving away from petrol and diesel vehicles which we will be gradually replacing with electric and hybrid vehicles as applicable. The objective is that within 24 months, we will be reliant on vehicles with a low carbon footprint through the reduction of omissions. This applies to both our own fleet of vehicles as well as those of the third-party companies and business partners that we work with.

The same commitment is evident in our offices where we are changing our energy providers, using only those companies who can also show that they take responsibility towards the environment and its future as seriously as we do. Alternative energy sources are gradually being replaced by more forward-thinking methods.

We are also supporting this goal in all other aspects of our business, through working only with companies and locations that are also making changes towards a sustainable future. We are doing everything that we can to ensure that even the smallest purchase decision, right down to the stationery used in the office, comes from the most ethical sources.

As a company we are committed to taking a lead role in redefining exactly what it means to travel, enabling everyone to explore our world in such a way that protects both people and places, and secures a positive future for destinations and local communities for generations to come.
